  • Searching for Light?

Still working out the kinks of my first 365 but can you imagine where I will be a year from yesterday? I’m very excited. Hopefully I will be pulling my hair out studying like a madman, no pun intended, and attending University of Texas, Austin. Ah, a girl can dream. Regardless, still working out the special kinks of this task I have so openly laid out before me. I don’t just want to report the day back to you like Siri. I would rather come up with some idealistic, exaggerated, beautiful idea and discuss it until I purge some realization onto thee. Oh, slipping into my English major days, relishing in the fineries of out literary disciples.

Oh, and I do not always want to be searching…

    Developing the Light:

    Using proper grammar is key

    When trying to express thee

Because stumbling across inapproproate words are foul

When accompanied with a fancy word like “jowl”

Through nearly four years of study, I have come to find

That people are not so refined

Where in their place is a repica of an intelligent being

Who has lost themselves in too many sitcoms and themes

Although my poetry might fall in pieces

I do wish to articulate some sort of thesis

Please understand your various words of choice

And do not assume it will always end in rejoice

There are grammar gurus out there with haste

So be sure to hide when they come shooting in chase

I myself still make errors, however it’s not the errors that matter

It’s how you learn and never make them again.
